At the core of that success is Mark Luis, a respected and patient horseman who has trained and shown champions across the country in the NRCHA, NSHA, AQHA, ARHFA, USTRC, SHTX, and more. His deep understanding of both horses and riders has shaped a long list of accomplished Non Pro and Amateur competitors, many of whom have gone on to win multipleWorld Titles under his guidance.

One of the most defining partnerships in our program is with our standout stallion, Sho Cat. Purchased as a two-year-old, Sho Cat was started and ridden by some of the industry’s top million-dollar riders and we knew how we were blessed to be able to acquire him. It was a match made in heaven and under Mark’s guidance Sho Cat truly came into his own. From that point forward, Mark trained, showed, and personally guided Sho Cat through nine competitive events, earning every one of his titles together. That kind of bond—built through time, trust, and consistency - is at the heart of everything we do here.

• 2019 Mark took a year off of his show schedule so that LaRae could show his horses in the High School Rodeo. All of her horses were injured and she desperately wanted to make it to National Finals for the 4th time! She won the OHSRA State Championship in the Cow horse and the OHSRA Res State Championship in the cutting! She made it to the National High School Finals Rodeo for the 4th and final time in her Rodeo career thanks to her father’s generosity as well as the generosity our Partners, Andrew and Felicity Macarthur!
