Long before the titles, sponsorships, or industry recognition, LaRae Luis understood the power of horses on a deeply personal level.
As a young person, LaRae often struggled — not always visibly, but profoundly. Horses became her constant. They provided a sense of confidence, and belonging when the world felt overwhelming. In the barn, expectations were clear, trust was earned, and connection was genuine. Those early experiences didn’t just shape her as a rider, they shaped who she became.
That lived understanding is the foundation behind Endless Strides Therapeutic Horsemanship, the nonprofit LaRae founded to serve children and families through the confidence-building connection between horses and humans. Endless Strides was not born from theory, but from a lifetime spent in the saddle, in the barn, and mentoring young people who, like her, simply needed a place where they felt capable, and understood.
Raised in the heart of the Luis Performance Horses program, LaRae has built an impressive résumé in the western performance horse industry, earning her place through talent, work ethic, and a deep commitment to the family legacy. She is hands-on in every aspect of the operation, from training and showing to horse sales, client relations, youth mentorship, and business management.
A decorated competitor, LaRae has earned multiple titles across Cutting, Cow Horse, Roping, and Barrels. Her versatility and horsemanship have led to endorsements from respected national and regional sponsors, along with multiple ambassadorships that reflect both her influence and integrity within the industry. Her success in the arena is fueled by the unwavering support of her family, a strong team behind her, and her faith in God.
Beyond competition LaRae has spent a lifetime training side-by-side with her father, she brings a rare combination of first-hand experience, horsemanship depth, and business insight. She understands what it takes to build programs people can trust.
Through Endless Strides, LaRae is extending the legacy she was raised in — using trusted horses and thoughtful horsemanship to create safe, meaningful experiences for children who need them most. Her passion for youth development has made her a go-to mentor for young riders, teaching not only horsemanship, but confidence, leadership, resilience, responsibility, and compassionate communication.
Guided by passion, purpose, and performance, LaRae continues to build her professional career while guiding Endless Strides with intention — thoughtfully selecting partner horses and creating safe, therapeutic opportunities for children and families through horsemanship.
